The house, feeders and drinkers are not counted. Monthly wages count once you add them.
How it works
Where these figures come from
- Feed, losses, vaccines and the selling day come from the same guides farmers follow in iFarm.
- Birds are counted as Rwandan farms sell them: a broiler at about 1.8 kg dressed on day 45, not the 3 kg live the breed can reach.
- Prices come from Rwandan price lists, tariffs and news reports. Each shows its source and month, and we mark the ones we could not confirm.
- Wages are yours to add, because they differ from farm to farm.
- The house, feeders and drinkers are left out, because they last for many flocks.
- It is an estimate, not a promise. Disease, a late sale or a fall in prices all change the result.
